Tel-Aviv, Israel, May 9, 2019– Wi-Charge, the leader in long-range wireless power, will participate as a speaker at Parks Associates 23rd annual CONNECTIONS: The Premier Connected Home Conference, held May 21-23 at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport in San Francisco, California. CONNECTIONS is focused on the use cases and emerging business models that will successfully engage consumers and grow revenues in the converging IoT industries.
Yuval Boger, Chief Marketing Officer of Wi-Charge, will share insights on how device manufacturers and service providers can better serve the consumer in the session “Support and Installation: Making the Smart Home Work” on May 22. Parks Associates latest research finds that U.S. broadband households have an average of 10.4 connected devices and 45 percent of households, when designing their next house, would choose one with smart technology over one without. Denise Ernst, Vice President, Parks Associates speaks more to this trend: “Market dynamics are setting up the smart door lock market and other individual smart home products for growth. New smart home solutions can expand existing product capabilities by integrating with smart speakers with voice assistants, adding to the positive user experience as well as further integration with other products in the home.”
With smart home device interest at an all-time high, Wi-Charge has developed a way to safely deliver power to connected devices without wires. This opens up a new world of possibilities for device manufacturers to make devices more aesthetically pleasing, build desired but power-hungry features into product and ensures the set-up and maintenance of smart-home devices for consumers hassle free. Wi-Charge’s long-range wireless power is the new way of power delivery, overcoming the mobility challenges of wired power and the limitations of battery-based devices.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to help shape the future of the smart home industry with some of the brightest minds in the space,” said Yuval Boger, CMO of Wi-Charge. “We are honored to not only demonstrate game-changing technological breakthrough for the smart home industry, but to invest the time discovering how long-range wireless power can help solve the challenges device manufacturers, service providers and consumers face with today’s with connected devices.”
Wi-Charge recently won the 2019 Edison Award for its innovative long-range wireless charging solutions aimed at the smart home, as well as a 2019 CES innovation awards for its Amazon Echo Dot and Google Home Mini wireless power kits. At CES, it also demonstrated the world’s first wirelessly powered smart lock.
