That’s a Nice Watch that You are Wearing
24 February 2020
That new smartwatch that you have is very nice.
It can measure your heart rate and track your fitness activities.
It can make or answer calls without having to take the phone out of your pocket.
You can use it to pay at numerous stores and restaurants.
But you have to charge it every day or two.
What if you didn’t have to charge it? What if it remained charged?
Would it become more useful to you?
Would it be more convenient?
Would it allow the watch manufacturer to add features that are not supported by the current battery capacity?
Maybe a camera for some facetime?
Maybe a little flashlight for when you need it?
Imagine what one could do if battery capacity is no longer a constraint.
Wireless charging can help you imagine. It can power what’s next.
